RECENTRE is an Alpine Space project that aims to accelerate green transformation in the mechatronics, automotive, and bioeconomy sectors by harnessing advanced technologies and ensuring worker well-being. In the face of increasing economic pressures and the need for sustainable practices.
The approach of RECENTRE integrates green manufacturing, digitization, and human-centred growth to support companies in achieving flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability, which are essential for competitiveness.
Thirteen organizations from Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Slovenia, and Switzerland will collaborate on the project to develop and enhance the target companies’ research, innovation, and advanced technology adoption capabilities.

Needs analysis:
Assessment of the state of the manufacturing industry in the Alpine region and business needs for implementing Industry 5.0. - Development of transition plans:
Concrete plans to transform manufacturing processes in the automotive, mechatronics, and bioeconomy sub-sectors in line with Industry 5.0 - Support and training:
Offer customized support, training, and workshops to facilitate business transition and provide the skills needed to meet the new challenges to exploit the potential of Industry 5.0 fully.
The project will last 36 months and has a total budget of about 3 Million Euros. It is co-funded through the Interreg Alpine Space program and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
